What’s the ideal trick to falling asleep, without taking medicines?

I’ve tried many things, but none of them seem to be working. I think it might be stress of school, but it's not that I need to see a physician. Horlics just seems to hyper me up more! :)

I've been an insomniac for years. Here are some things that might help. Give up caffeine like soda, coffee, and tea. Do not exercise right before going to bed. However…you want to exercise a lot in the afternoon. The more exhausted your body is, the better you will sleep. Stick to the same bedtime schedule each night…even on the weekends. This is a must. If you begin staying up late on the weekends, it will screw up your schedule during the week. Do not eat a large meal too late in the evening. Eat early so you won't have stomach problems to keep you up. Also…try to do something extremely resting shortly before going to bed to wind down. Maybe you could take a resting bath before going to bed. Sweet dreams!

Answer:
Drink a glass of milk before bed and make sure you don't watch TV or use the PC at least 2 hours before going to bed.

You could try reading a book before bed, it would take your mind off school stresses and make you more tired.

Answer:
wait until your tired
