I have heard about lead based paint or glaze that is often used in "cheap" ceramics and such.
Do you know if the dollar store uses lead glaze in thier coffee mugs?
Is there a site I could find this out?
Answer:
Many cheap ceramics are made in China where they use lead in their paint. Personally I would not chance my health. Lead accumulates in the body and attacks your brain cells causing them to die. Do you want to chance it just to save a few bucks?
