I’m 14 years old and I had a cat scan two years ago and I'm wondering what some sideffects are to the radiation
And if possible a way to prevent them
Thank you
Answer:
You wouldn't be getting any side effect two years later. The only thing that could happen, even though very unlikely, is that if the radiation happened to hit a single cell at a particular time during cell division, it could cause a cancerous cell. But as I said, this would be very unlikely, it's much the same as getting sunburnt…
Answer:
One single CAT scan two years ago isn't going cause any side effects. One needs to be exposed to frequent or high dose radiation to cause problems. The 2 minutes you were exposed to wont' cause any harm.
Answer:
Two years ago? If you aren't flying, there's nothing to worry about. During cat scans they always put this mat over your chest and lower waist so they won't be affected. Nothing to worry about.
Answer:
unless you weren’t shielded,you're good.Why,do you’ve super powers now?
