Calcium rich foods are what you need. Because of the high LDL levels, you should opt for low fat dairy products, such as skim milk, and low fat yogurts and cheeses. Make sure you are getting enough vitamin D too. Vitamin D is necessary for our bodies to use calcium effectively. It's found in some foods, but we get most of it from the sunlight. Try to get out in the sun for at least 10 minutes a day (that's sufficient). You can also take a supplement (the current recommendation for supplements is taking one that contains 1000 iu of vitamin D). Calcium supplements are also available, but make sure you consult your physician before taking these. Calcium supplements can interfere with the absorption of other medications you are taking.
