I've been working as long as could each day. This has put my sleep schedule kind of at random so I've been sleeping a decent amount but I've been staying up a bit longer than usual and every once in a while I would sleep a little bit extra.

This week I can't seem to stay awake. In the last few days: I slept for 5 hours - awake for 5 - slept for 4 hours - awake for 8 - slept for 8 - awake for 8 - slept for 10 - I go to sleep because I'm exhausted and I wake up exhausted some of the time too.

I've never slept this much before and I'm not depressed.

Also I should mention - I did Atkins for a week so I ate nothing but meat and eggs - this bad effect just happened a little after I went off it. I can't find anyone else had this problem though. I'm also running 2.5 mi every other day and I'm in ok but not great shape.

Is this just what I get for messing with my sleep schedule or could this be something to worry about? - or is Atkins the devil?

Has anyone dealt with this before?

Answer:
I say you need a good sleeping routine. I'm no expert but that just seems right. Try not to stress your self out too much. Trust me you don't wanna end up like my mum :). So get a routine give it a few days, if it doesn't work see a doctor or something.
