How to mend dry skin inside the ears?

it must be a hereditary thing since my sister and everyone else on my mothers side of the family have it too. It is just dry skin, it is not itchy, it never gets cracked or infected, it is just dry skin in the ears. what can I do to get rid of it? and its not hygene related as I’m very clean.

I’ve the same problem, my physician gave me a thick petroleum based cream to put in there. I’ve also used glycerin that you can buy over the counter for just a few dollars a bottle, it works really well. Just be consistent with whatever you use.
