i can see out of a +1.00 but i really don't have a problem seeing things only when it comes to reading small words

If you can see well at a distance with +1.00 then you could be farsighted. If you’re over 40 and your only problem is seeing things close, you have presbyopia. Either way you could use glasses.

If you cant see…. you need glasses. If it is only for reading then you should be fine with buying just reading glasses. It you have more problems seeing besides that then you need to go see an eye physician.
