Health insurance in India is a sector that’s just taking off. The people are still learning about the benefits and life insurance is well know in India. Which is more important and why?

Health insurance is meant to let you pay for health care to stay healthy and alive. Life insurance is meant to help your dependent family financially after you die. Both are important, but your immediate need is to stay healthy and alive. For that, health insurance is more immediately important.

Many people would say health but I would state life because if you really love your family you wouldn't want to leave them with all kinds of bills they will already be up set the fact that your gone so get life insurance.

both! but if you’ve to select — Health! Health insurance is for yourself while life insurance is for your loved ones when you die… so secure a health insurance first, be healthy and then get a life insurance.
