Sometimes my right shoulder gets a pain than I feel from my right side of my neck right down my right tricep. Could it happen from lifting weights? I'm not sure…

Thanks

Answer:
This might be caused from you lifting weights. If you weren’t using proper form and strained your neck - or just plain did anything to your neck at all (sometimes sleeping wrong is all it takes) the inflammation from the strain (or other injury) can put pressure on nerves there. Try ice and NSAIDs (like ibprofen or naproxem) to reduce the swelling and thus the compression. If this still doesn't resolve the pain, you need to see your doctor. There could be something more serious going on.

Answer:
a massage might help… this could be from sleeping wrong, bad posture while sitting standing or even driving….. it sounds like you’ve tension in the trapezious. get a massage to rest this muscle and im sure you’ll be fine….
