May
I woke up this morning, looked in the mirror and noticed I was rather pale. Next thing I knew I started seeing part black and white dots everywhere, until it went absolutely black.
I fell and when I woke up, I was freezing, shaking and sweating. I felt nauseous and I realized my neck was killing me. I must have injured it the way I fell.
Now my neck is stiff and I can't move it at all. The veins are puffed up and hard. It hurts so much. What can I do to make it better?
Answer:
I think you need to get to an ER asap.
Maybe your neck isn't stiff from the fall. Possibly you have meningitis or some other infection. It”s probably lymph nodes in your neck and not the veins that are swollen. Are you running a fever?
I wouldn't fool around with this if I were you
Answer:
You need to see a physician or go to a clinic asap - one of the side effects of meningitis (a serious brain inflammatory disease) is a stiff neck. You could also have seriously hurt your neck - but it sounds more like you have a viral disease. Here are symptoms for meningitis (it is contagious)
What Are the Symptoms of Meningitis?
Usually, someone with meningitis is very sick. Symptoms might include:
* a very bad headache that won't go away
* neck stiffness
* back stiffness
* eye pain or irritation when exposed to light
* nausea, or being sick to the stomach
* vomiting, or throwing up
* body aches
* fever
* feeling very sleepy or unable to fully wake up
* feeling very confused or out of it
