I got back my blood test results and my liver was a tiny elevated. I ask a physician about it and she stated that it was no massive deal and that tylenol will bring it down…but I was saying to myself…doesn't tylenol end up ELEVATING your liver and not bringing it down? Was my doc wrong about that?
Answer:
Livers don't get elevated unless you stand up, climbs stairs, or fly in an airplane.
Certain liver readings might be up, and that might be good, or it might be bad. Tylenol can be hazardous for livers to metabolize, especially if combined with alcohol.
Ask the doc again, and if you do research on the Internet, stick with .edu sites for a while.
Answer:
I think you’re right I would have that Physician check one more time , because this doesn't sound right. But Even if this is so , what are u suppose to do about it. Did they tell you if you need to cease taking it or what. I'm sorry I hope you get thing back to normal again.
Answer:
tylenol can not bring down the elevated liver enzymes, so this is a misleading statement,
