a couple days ago. I'm pretty sure I pulled my extensor digitorum longus tendon. It's pretty much healed now, just some soreness/tenderness, but how do I prevent it from getting damaged any further? (my job requires a lot of running, jumping, etc.)

You probably shouldnt go to work for a few days. (where do you work that requires a lot of running and jumping???) Anyway, that kind of stuff is obviously not good for your ankle and might lead to more serious complications. Take it simple for a few days

I suggets taking some sick leave off work if you wish for your ankle to fully recover.
