Okay so here's my dilemma.

I know I'm constipated.. I'm able to have a bowel movement still.. but it's not a normal bm. It's not diarrhea… but I just bm just a little. It's not pencil thin.. but I know I should have more coming out of me. (I know, gross.) I normally go 2 times a day. And for the past few days I've been going about once a day. I tried drinking a lot more water, cuz I thought that was the issue. I've cut down on my dairy in take. So I'm not sure what's going on. I took ex lax a few days ago and half a glass of prune juice. And boy did I go! But now I'm back to having this problem again. I feel backed up….

Are there any natural remedies for constipation?

I've been reading a lot of information on yahoo answers about constipation and so far I've seen tons of people are saying to drink castor oil and beer? Or drink some metamucil or citracil?

If anyone can she some more light on this issue, that would be great appreciated. Thanks!

Best thing I have found natural is heated prune juice, but just betwen 8-16oz. I tried the over the counter stuff, but some have physilium- and will bloat your somach and cause gas. Lax's will cause your bowels to move but then rebound you right back to constipation-avoid them. Keep working on the prune juice. if you’re impacted-then you could try digital removal with a glove-if you can do it..good luck
