He has to walk sorta slanted and I’ve tried giving him ibuprophen, rubbing bengay on his back, and heat pads, and nothing is working. We don't have insurance and he cant go to the physician. What could it be and what can I do at home (OTC, home remedies, etc)???
Answer:
Use ice first of all, not heat. Leave the ice on for 15 minutes each hour. Ibuprofen or Aleve. Try these low back exercises, tell him not to force the movements, just do them slowly (once a day).
Answer:
He needs to rest his back to avoid getting chronic back pain. Use thermal therapy garments back support which will offer support & pain relief. Avoid too many meds due to side effects. If he keeps injuring his back at work he should find a diff job before he cant work at all.
