I got one shot of phenegran for nausea and one shot of bentyl on the same side when I was in the hospital 2 weeks ago. Where I had the shots, it still hurts really bad and burns in my butt muscle as if I've got like a sunburn. Sometimes, it itches really bad, too. What could this be? It happened 2 weeks ago!!!
Answer:
Sometimes minor infections/abcesses happen at injection sites. The pain you describe, and the itching line up with that pretty well.
