Ingrown toenail………Help! :(?

Well, i have an ingrown toenail. A cuople of months ago i had one on my right toenail(i had it partially taken out by a foot doctor),but now its on my left. its not red or bleeding, and its not really swollen that much. I realized yesterday that i am able to take the nail on top of the partially swollen skin. i showed my mother and she stated to take it out by myself(she had it on twice already). Should i do it, my toenail looks a bit like this

should i cut it myself or do the cotton thing.

plzz explain how to do it if u pick one.

Ya might wanna just go ahead and cut it, or else it will just keep growing into your toe and it will injured badly. That cotton thing doesn't really work to well, so go ahead and cut it now before it gets worse.

Grab that toenail and instruct it a lesson by clenching it between your teeth and pulling really really hard. K?

You should pick it yourself. If you do it, it won't injured as much in about 3-4 day. Ur welcome! =)
