I'm into mountain biking and I crash sometimes, often on a knee. Is there anything I can do to cease my knees failing when I get older?


Answer:
I dont think so. As long as the impact is there you run the risk of joint discomfort. I saw an article recently about the rising number of hip replacements in 40 somethings, often because of high impact constant gym activity.

I used to work in a warehouse, i used to jump off of the racks at work sometimes as high as 10ft, my knees hurt a lot now, you should always take care of your joints and take vitamins daily.

u can get bad knees wen ur older from all the crashes u do.if i was u i'd begin wearing knee pads for safety.
