So I just got up and started moving around, then i dropped something and turned around at a weird angle and bent down to pick it up, and I got a very sharp pain in my back, now it hurts like hell! I must have thrown it out (never done this before!) but I'm only 20 years old!!!! Do I’ve a crappy back?
One thing I think could have caused it — I’m a normal gym - goer, but I was on vacation for two weeks. Yesterday I worked out for an hour at the gym, the first time in two weeks. Did I maybe put a lot of strain on my back muscles when I did this?
What should I do to ease the pain, do I need to lay down or is sitting okay (I have a lot of work to do today on the computer so I really can't afford to lay in bed)
Answer:
You might have injured your back, without noticing from the gym. The “squishy” cushions that cushion your spine, might be dislocated or you dislocated a disk (in your spine). My dad, has a displaced disk in his lower back, when he moves in the wrong way, he has the ability to throw his back out and he needs physical theropy to put it back in place. He first hurt his back, in the army, when he was young, - 17-18, then threw his back out around 30. So, hes not too old. and I am 13.
I would go a physician and bring up physical theropy, dont go back to the gym until you’re totally healed. Use pain killers (Ibuprofen, Motrin, Tylenol) and heating pads, to ease the pain, dont walk around too much, just rest your back to let it heal. XD
Answer:
i think u just strained ur back. have some body rub icy-hot on the pain and rub out the tension and stretch it out
