It caused a pretty bad bruise & its located on his right side about 4 inches below his chest, looks like its on his rib cage.

The liver is on the right side. The spleen is on the left. There is no way to even palpate the spleen unless it's enlarged. It is a very protected organ, as is the liver. I think he’ll be okay. If his eyes turn a shade of yellow, you should seel medical attention because this could signify liver damage.

You can't bruise an internal organ by pinching the skin. Like the others state, the liver is on the right, the spleen on the left. The spleen should be entirely encased beneath the ribcage, the liver mostly so. Either way, there's a layer of muscle in the way as well. Unless you really punched him, I'd say the chances that you pinched an organ (besides the skin) are pretty much 0.
