I am taking the generic form of Wellbutern and it gives me a horrible taste in my mouth all day long. I am on the phone at work and I cant chew gum. Is there any way to get rid of this?

Answer:
I tried the generic Wellbutrin SR and had problems with it as well. I now have my doctor write "Name Brand medically necessary." I found that the pill itself seemed like powder packed tightly, unlike Wellbutrin that has a outer shell coating. I think that the generic releases faster due to the packed powder make up of the pill and the lack of coating…not quite sustained release…. (SR)
