okay so I'm looking for some health insurance and have my mind set on a PPO because I need to see both an ENT & Stomach specialist right away, hassle free so that's the better choice right?
I'm looking at “Aetna” that has a plan but I'm not sure what this “Separate Prescription Drugs Deductible = $500″ is. Is this some annual fee for Rx ? Also the “Out of Pocket Maximum = $7500″ what happens when I reach $7500? And anything else I might be overlooking I just want to take care of my chronic sinusitis and stomach pains
Answer:
for the Rx - the first $500 will be your responsibility - after that just pay the copays depending on the Tiers (I,II, III) (III being the most pricey sometimes $50 copay); for the Out of Pocket Maximum - that includes your coinsurance and deductible; must check your coinsurance %; after this is satisfied - Aetna should pay 100% of Usual and Customary Allowed Amounts. Hope you feel superior
