I've travelled extensively to many countries, and have taken all suggested precautions against Mosquito bites… Vit B1… lathered myself with insect repellent… mossie nets.. you name it - I've tried it. I ALWAYS end up being eaten alive and it drives me nuts. Last time I travelled to Samoa, I ended up with septic sores from mossie bites. Has anyone got any good ideas ????

I live in an area know for ross river virus - carried by mozzies.
A really good repellent is half dettol and half baby oil mixed together in a spray bottle. My physician recommends this and it works really well
Answer:
we we go camping i always use the skin so soft original bath oil and just spray it on my arms and legs or face. That usually works very good.
If you we do get any bites, we rub alcohol on them as soon as we find them and they disappear in 15 minutes. I’ve been doing this for 20 years now and it works incredibly

Answer:
Try using Avon Skin So Soft. It is a lotion made by Avon, but it repels mosquitos for some reason.
