Is a reading of 141/81 a good reading.

Answer:
The top number is you systolic number, and is is 20 points higher than it should be. The really important number, on the bottom, is known as diastolic and is the pressure in your arteries when your heart is relaxed in between beats. Your reading is normal for that. I would decrease your salt consumption, avoid caffeine, and begin exercising. Of course, if you are smoking, stop straight away. This current reading would classify you as mild hypertension.
