I want to increase my iron intake without taking iron tablets.
Answer:
red meat, fish, poultry, lentils, beans, leaf vegetables, tofu, chickpeas, black-eyed peas (not the band lol)
potatoes with skin, bread made from absolutely whole-grain flour, molasses, teff and farina. Iron in meat is more easily absorbed than iron in vegetables
Some Mushrooms have Iron in them too.

One of the foods richest in iron I've been told is liver. It's also one of the most yuckiest foods in the world. ICK! YUCK! I don't care how it's prepared, liver is liver is liver.
