Hi. I'm a 13 and a half year old boy who's 5'3 and weighs at an average of 88lbs. am i too skinny. i no i am skinny, and im trying to find out what i should do to gain some “healthy weight”. just tell me what i should do, and I'd appreciate it.

wow ur VERY petite.. i only have one question is it because your naturaly thin or because you deprive yourself. i think you should gain some weight at least till you get to 95 pounds or 100 as long as you go over your basal metabolism you will gain weight:)

Your BMI is in the healthy range, but a pic would be better. Weight looks different on different people- everyone has a way of carrying it. You sound kind of skinny, but you're a growing teenager. I'm sure you'll hit puberty soon and grow taller. You'll be hungrier, so you'll eat more. As long as you exercise and eat healthy foods you’ll fine. Maybe right now eat more protein, like milk and meats. =]

eat protein it will help you gain healthhy weight which will prob be muscle. I would try eating fish, nuts, beef, peanut butter that type of stuff. do some weight lifting and stuff like that to make sure you dont gain bad weight like fat in the gut or something.
