pasta and rice? I still eat potaotes, but usually they’re sweet potatoes and not very often. I want to drop 40 lbs. I am also doing exercise (45 mins of cardio 5 nights a week and weights 3 nights a week). How long will it take? ♥

Answer:
Yes you would lose weight by slicing out the refined carbs and sweet potato is good for you so fine in small amounts. As long as you eat regular, small portions and workout at least 3 times a week, you will speed your metabolism up and the weight loss will follow swiftly. You should also give yourself at least 2 days rest to recover so you don't wear yourself out and peak too early.

Answer:
It has tiny to do with *what* you eat, and everything to do with how *much* you eat.

Each 3500 calories you burn over what you eat = 1lb lost. So if a normal woman needs 2000 calories a day to stay the same weight, you should aim to eat around 1500. Along with your exercise routine (which is great), you should lose around 1-2lbs each week. Don't try to do more than that, this is the only healthy way and every single women's magazine, fitness website, and nutritionist will concur.

You should still be eating carbs, as they're an important part of your daily nutrition and keep your body fueled and able to work harder during the day, leading to more calories burned overall. Try to eat a carb-heavy breakfast and then taper it down throughout the day.

Just search “(the food you're eating) calories” on google, and you can easily find out how many calories are in anything. Easy peasy.

It's probably going to take you about 5-6 months to lose the weight as long as you stay committed to the program.

Answer:
See the thing is, you can eat bread and pasta and rice. You were probably eating WHITE rice and breads, which are bad. You SHOULD eat WHOLE wheat and grains. Those are good/complex carbs. You were eating that simple crap.

It's a myth that carbs are bad for you. Most of your diet (about 65%) should come from carbs - again, the GOOD ones, as carbs give the body energy. Without carbs, you'd be a zombie. So don't avoid them, just purchase the good ones.

Have you ever seen the food pyramid? Breads are the LARGEST group, and you want to cut it out? Not good.

Answer:
you’ll. I actually saw people going wheat free, they all lose a lot. If you want to know how long it will take, you should calculate. To lose one pound you should burn 3500 calories. Compute what you burn exercising, and amount of calories, consumed daily. Then compare it with what you usually ate before (the amount of calories). Established the deficit. Then calculate: if your deficit is 3500 calories a week, you are losing 1 pound a week, and so on.

Answer:
If you haven't seen results already, it's not going to work. All that is is losing water. I don't suggest it and no physician does, either. I only started losing weight recently when I dropped that silly fad and started eating starch every night.

Answer:
yes you will loose a lot, and youll probably start seeing reults fast within a month BUT dont eat late like after 8 even if its good healthy food
