Hello! I'm a 24yr old woman that want to gain at least 15 pounds. I’m just starting to do exercise, or superior said, I’ll this week. I’ll do exercise at home, work with my arms and abs, also legs. Do you think that walking would be enough to have tone legs? For how long should I walk, how many days a week? Thanks!

Answer:
walking at a brisk pace is an excellent way to work out your legs. try 3-4 times a week for a mile for starters, and gradually increase your distance over time. good luck!

Answer:
YES! Walking is one of the best things you can do for yourself. It is good for you physically, mentally, and psychologically. I recommend walking outside rather than on a treadmill. A half hour brisk walk up a mild slope will do wonders for your legs, your lungs, and your state of mind. If you’re not in shape, begin out slow, and build up tiny by tiny. Tune in to your body; it will tell you if you should walk every day or every other day. Sometimes your muscles need to rest and repair, sometimes they are ready to go. By the way, it is a good idea to have a complete physical by your physician before beginning an intensive exercise program. Good luck!

Answer:
for about two years i walked non-stop at work. i would arrive at my job and walk at a brisk pace for the next 10 hours (i once got a pedometer and found out i was walking almost 15 miles on an average night!)

yes, it will tone your legs, but not quite as much as you think.

the best definiton i ever got was wearing light leg weights. i did 5 pounds, but know a girl that had 3 pounds and got very close results. i never wore them to work (no need to destroy my ankles and knees any more than the asphalt was). i just wore them around the home when doing housework or any ordinary activity. when bigger pants were in style i could hide them under my jeans to go to the store.

my second favorite thing for toned legs is bike riding. i use my bike almost exclusively for transportation here in chicago and have more toned thighs and butt of all my non-biking friends. surprisingly, biking has also given me nice shoulders…

Answer:
Walk, run, do squats with or without weights,
eat protein foods,

It will take time especially if you’ve a fast metabolism.

Answer:
Well, begin off slow because your doing tonnes of exercise, so like 10 minutes, and gradually build it up by like 5 minutes. Also, try to do that 4 times a week, if you feel that’s too much or too tiny, feel free to adjust :D

Havee Funn! xx
