I'm in college and I've tried to eat healthy a lot of the time but the school only offers salad and I get sick of salad in like a week so I fall off the wagon. I need to find other healthy options other than salad.

Answer:
i knwo how hard it is to eat salad for each meal in college just to eat healthy! ive been there…my college diet was cereal for breakfast, salad for lunch and then half a bolw of cereal and half a salad for dinner..haha…not too exciting.

finding healthy options is hard…but you can do it.

1 dont starve yourself…you need more than jsut salad and you dont want to totally cut your calories…in addition…make sure part of your routine is exercising…do both resistive training and cardio…thye will both help to lose weight…and trust me…you CAN find the time…and your college should havea gym.

if you are nervous about finding time for working out…take an hour long study break or sub your tv time for working out…its just an hour…and trust me…college kids have a TON of time.

ok..now makeing healthy decisions.

I dont know about your cafeteria…but we always had fruit options and salad…so make sure you get a little of each at each meal. try cereal and skim milk at breakfast with a banana or apple. Make sure the cereal is not sweet, but more of a raising bran or cheerioes…and you can even put your fruit on it. if you still feel hungry…go for yogurt. Also, start your day with some Oj or apple juice.

ok lunch…go with a sandwich. you CAN go deli without breaking your diet…nix the mayo and oil and go for vinegar or mustard. Try for whole grain or whole wheat bread instead of white, and dont pile on the cheese. Go for one piece or two pieces of meat, and one piece of cheese, then use lettuce, cucumbers and tomato and even onion to fill up the rest of your sandwich. a few chips or as an alternative try carrots or apples and some juice or water for a drink shoul dbe good for lunch. if you’re still hungry, a bit of yogurt or small salad is good.

If you want something different for lunch, try a salad with some gilled chicken cut up over top, or just a good hearty salad. make sure to always dip your salad in the dressing instead of pouring it all over top.

ok…and dinner…try some grilled chicekn, or a sandwich or salad…anying differnet from what you had a lunch. try some rice and a variety of other fillers…yourt and fruit…no soda and no desserts…no pizza either.

also…if your school somtimes offers pasta or eggs in the morning or at night…go for the occasional change…just stick to eggs without cheese…and possibly with egg whites rather than a whole egg. if you’ve 2 eggs, go for one egg with the yolk and one without…it makes a good scrambled eggs with a healthier choice. as for pasta…instead of getting alfredo…try red sauce or plain with a touch of butter.

ok…and lastly…once or twice a week go to the grocery store…get yourself some suppplies…eat some pb and j or get a differnt kind of fruit…

remember it is college…you can eat poorly…its ok…but if you make unhealthy decisions on a friday pizza and beer night…make sure your next day is on the healthier side…or even your lunch and breakfast that day is healthier…its balance…

we’re human…we arent perfect…im good at keeping my food healthy but I need dessert…whether its a cupcake, icecream or jsut a small piece of chocolate…you need to allow yourself to be free from food concerns…so just mae sure you cut the fattier stuff out 75% of the time and you’ll be doing really well…one slip-up is not bad…just dont let it pull you off track and then make you eat poorly for the rest of the week…

i lost about 20 pounds in the last 3 weeks by using this acai x3 stuff. so, mb i didn't really believe that it would work but they were giving out free trials on the internet so i decided to try it and it actually works. It does some kind of chemical change in your body that changes the intake of your calories or something along those lines. if your interested, you can go to http://acaisavedmylife.official.ws/ to find out more information and if you want get a free trial. it really helped me out.

The answer is to eat normal, but when you are hungry after or before a meal, eat a protein bar or cereal (I eat Kellogs special K). Also, try not to snack very often.

P.S. Im not sure if the affects my current weight (90 lb), but i snack on yogurts every day along with polly-o chees sticks.

Cut sweets and soft drinks out of your diet. Run sprints Monday and Thursday morning before you eat. Will keep your metabolism high, and turn your body into a fat burning engine.
