My friend who i have been ideal friends with for 5 years now has got an ED. When I first met her she was overweight so she knew she had to go on a diet.
But instead she made herself sick after eating.
She’s a good weight right now, she’s 5″2 and is 118lbs. But she wants to lose a lot more.
2 years ago I had to go to the school councellor and try get her help as she was veyr underweight and it didnt look normal.
Then she started getting back on track. I like her weight she’s now but she isnt happy. It doesnt help that her mum calls her fat either.

The reason i am so worried right now is that she fainted a couple weeks ago, when nobody was at home and she was by herself.

She denys that she is bulimic to me because i got her help before and she wont admit it now but I KNOW she still has the ED.

What do I do? I have tried confronting her but she wont admit it and lies. I cant talk to her mum either because her mum doesnt talk english as they’re chinese.

Answer:
Tell her huge guys like me (6'9″ 200lbs) Don't like skinny girls that look like they'd break. haha.

But seriously, Let her know that you are seriously worried about her, and that bulimia is an extreme condition that isn't healthy. What you should do, is whenever you're around her, eat! Anything to make her hungry, and then hang out with her for at least 2 hours after watching her eat, by that point at least 80% of what she has eaten is passed through into her small intestine, and the only way out of there’s…well….Let's not get into that. My sister used to be bulimic, and what the Physician ended up doing was giving her liquid meals, since the stomach does no nutritional digestion, all liquid passes straight into the small intestine, so she couldn't get it back up.

And a way to tell if she is still bulimic, smell her breath. If it stinks, she still is, but if she washes her teeth, then look at her teeth, if they’re a nearly pinkish color, then she is wearing down the enamel of her teeth, which is making them raw, and exposing the nerve.

I sure hope she is okay, good luck, my friend.

I was overweight until I checked out acai berry, I comprehend they state that pills don't work, however they definitely worked for me, and they’ve been shown on the Rachael Ray Show too. There's a free trial on currently at http://feriss.sertevisa.com , why not check it out, what have you got to lose?

Answer:
yeah. tell her that curves DO look superior. and bulimia ruins your teeth. i was bulimic for two years. there are also eating disorder camp. and also, tell her that her mom is just jealous, or something. no good parent would call their child fat.

Answer:
maybe set her up with a guy who likes her?
then she has higher self esteem then she will get superior.
All the ideal

Answer:
tell her that curvy girls are way hotter than stick bones disgusting gals

I was 5'2 and 1/2 inch 6 years ago and weight alittle less. I was over weight. I looked really chubby. I’m a few inches taller (3 or 4 inches) and I still wouldn’t look good a that weight. But it all depends on ur body.everyone is different. I weigh a lot less now. but really if you want to lose weight, do it the healthy way. Eat healthy foods, cut out junk food, exercise and do not starve ur self of foods that you NEED. If ur friend wants to lose a few more pounds, its ok but she needs to stop the purging. tell her to do what I just advocate. I wish i could be a psychologist and I would do everything to help her. I would really nice to her. I think her mom is making her ED worse. ur friend isn't fat. she might be a weeny bit overweight. but thats not nice to put peopel down liek that.

Answer:
The only way is to tell her that you’re there for her and that she’s not alone beacuse you are her ideal friend. She can trust you even though she has lied to you on many occasions. Take her to a clinic that surpport young girl who are her age and is bulimic. Tell her on may occasions that she is not fat and that she is beautiful and that you’re better than everyone. Tell that her mom does not know what she taking about and that she is not overweight.

I'm sure that she will come round with your surpport.

Answer:
Ok, well usually when things like this happen to teenage girls they want to hide the fact that they have an eating disorder because people tell them oh you don't need to lose weight your skinny enough, but inside they aren't happy so they feel that they need to just keep it to their selves. Yes your right the fact that her mother is telling her shes fat does not help what so ever. Is her mother fat? Maybe she needs to look in the mirror and quit being rude to her own daughter.!

But the professional way to get help is talking to her about getting help also and tell her if she gets to under weight, she could be put in the hospital and possibly die especially if she's starving herself so she needs to just start exercising more and eating healthy, yes she will gain weight but it will put her at a healthy weight and back on track

Answer:
From experience please don't wait till she is a sack of bones to get help, even if she looks a healthy wait and you know she’s bulimic she has to get help the sooner the better because serious damage will happen to her body and mind.
In a lot of cases eating disorders are an attention thing. Might I suggest for a couple of weeks just subtle commenting on how good she looks (provided she is at a healthy weight),for example 'that shirt look really lovely on you, it fits you perfectly' or 'you don't even realise how good you look these days, you’re great the way you are', hopefully this will make her see things clearly. If it doesn't work then please go to a counsellor/teacher/brother or sisters/grandparents or aunts and uncles if her mum wont listen.
Good luck with your friend, I seriously hope she gets superior. And you are a very good friend to be so worried about her.

Answer:
The phrase overweight spells out varying things to varying people. It's a good idea to set off at the beginning, and establish whether you’re in reality overweight for your size or not, by working out your BMI (Body Mass Index). To be honest, the sole thing that definitely showed results for me was green tea, it can be seen in the resource box underneath, they have a limited number of free trials in stock, it has been highlighted in Reader's Digest and CNN. I shed 25 pounds, it definitely does work!
