I'm 5'4″ and nearly 17. Can I do this and how? I used to be super thin but I put on loadsa weight over winter and want it off! :)

To lose weight, you need to comprehend some basics:
Eating and exercising regularly assists your metabolism.
Your metabolism uses and burns your stored fats.
To lose weight, you need to burn those fats without adding to them. A well balanced diet, free of fats, too much salt and sugars, will assist you to drop the extra pounds.
Losing weight too fast can come at a cost to your health and also cause unwanted things like dizziness. 1 hard-boiled egg

1/2 cantaloupe
1/2 cup-vanilla ice cream

Yes its possible. All you gotta do is count your calories, eat about 1500 per day. Cut out fried food, foods high in sodium, cokes or anything else with high fructose corn syrup. Exercise 30 mins a day 5 days a week, an hour if you can. Jogging/running is ideal for weight loss. Just keep this up and the weight will begin falling off, but never eat below 1200 calories!
