Gabe, you and I have been unsuccessful at losing weight because we’re way too good at restricting our calories. I used to go gung-ho 4 weeks and not lose more than a pound. I don't know for sure about yours, but my body catches on to me within a week and kicks in fuel efficiency! Aka starvartion mode. I’ve learned a lot on http://www.myfitness pal.com . it will compute your bmr (minimum number of calories needed to sustain your life if you'd stay in bed and do nothing all day), figure necessary protein, carbs, fat etc., and it provides each member with an on the internet food and exercise log where it calculates calopries and nutrients 4 you. There are so specific fitness forums 4 support, exercise tips, success stories, fun and games, recipes etc. The people are just wonderful and it is TOTALLY free. I have gone from an 18-20W to a size 14!!!!!! On my Wii fit scale I've gone from well into the obese column to just loverweight! I've only been at this since December 15! I had been in my town's big loser contest and with all the support could only shed 15 pounds. I CAN'T WAIT to see you on my fitness pal, sharing your great news about taking the pounds off. I attribute it all to realizing my protein deficit, suport from my fitness pals, and NOT going below my calorie alotment everyday!!! Honestly, you’ll also soon learn that you need to let your body rest so it can complete the rebuilding process (which also burns calories!). Good Luck!!! Brenda

the only advice i have for you is to remember to change up your workout routine! the body as an extraordinary ability to adapt!! if you constantly are doing the same thing…your body will figure out how to do the work using the least amount of energy it can (our bodies can be very “effecient”) when this happens, what you are basically doing is maintaining your body, not improving it. if your main goal is losing weight, focus on strength training - the more muscle mass you have, the more calories you can burn. (if you're doing cardio - also remember to switch it up to…the body will adapt)
If you're more concerned about tone and sculpting your body, focus more on the amount of reps you do something, not so much on you much you are lifting, etc.
hope this helps!

It sounds to me like you're doing enough. If you feel like you need to step up the activity level then take a walk each day. That will add to your calorie burning without burning you out.
You're doing great.
Answer:
Add some resistance exercise for muscle, and stretching, like yoga.
