Im 18 years old, 5'7 tall, and 128 pounds. I want to lose 5 pounds, but slowly so I have the ability to keep it off forever.

My plan is to eat four meals a day. Each meal is about 400-500 calories. I Want to exercise 4 days a week with running and ab exercises. And I plan not to eat past 7:00 PM.

Does this sound adequate? Or should there be more adujustments? Any tips would help

That is a really good plan. The only thing is you might want to cut your exercising down to 3 days a week doing it every other day so you don't over work yourself, and make sure you don't eat any sweets. Slicing sweets completly out your diest or at least slicing back on them helps put off the pounds. Also make sure you don't eat any fried foods at all. Personally though being as tall as you’re, you more than like just want to do sit ups and crunchies just to help trim down your tummy.

Cut out the sweets, sodas, iced coffees and fast food. That alone will get you your 5 pounds. Dont loose sight of the fact that your body needs good food to survive, so eat right, exercise, and remove excess junk from your diet.

PS drinking lots of water is of course great but too much and your body will retain it…you'll bloat. Ewwie.

So far this sounds really good but even if you want to gain muscle you should try a tiny bit of weight training because if you do too much you might get bulky.
