Our family got a treadmill and my daughter is 17 and over weight, it think shes fine but im not her if you know what i mean, im worried she’s overdoing it on the treadmill, what should she be doing each day on it?
Answer:
Teens can do a lot…even the ones that haven't done a lot of physical activity before. When I was in high school, I was over weight, and didn't get much exercise at all. A boy that I had a little crush on invited me to play ultimate frisbee so I forced myself through a few games and then it got to where it was simple and I was doing just as well as the children that were in sports. It's great that your daughter is doing this on her own and is staying motivated. Let her do as much as she feels comfortable with. Just let her know to keep herself hydrated. As long as she gets off the treadmill feeling okay then she'll be fine. If she starts to feel dizzy, nauseated or weak then I would worry but until then, just be her cheer leader. I wish her and your whole family the ideal of luck!
Answer:

Answer:
If she's over 5 feet tall and under 175 lb, she's definitely fine.
