I read some of his answers earlier this day in response to substitute medicine, it is highly unlikely this man is genuine. He clearly has a perverse, sick unhealthy interest in the female health section. He is also very offensive to Homeopaths etc. I think we should all give this man a wide berth in future! He is very suspect!

Fortunately some doctors do care about about female problems. Like contacts in General Practice 2 women post health problems on Answers to each male question. Also inevitably in the Health Section, if you answer a lot of questions every week you seem to automatically end up with Top Contributors status in Women's Health, I’m proud of this and see no reason why I or anyone should apologise for it!
Sorry but if you’re unfortunate enough to suffer from any significant medical condition Killer Egg, you’re welcome to try and fix it with alternative rubbish, most of which when put to the test has clearly been shown to be worthless, I don't think it doesn't work, it just doesn't. In response to your facetious comment regarding Dr Frank having a, “perverse, sick unhealthy interest in the female health section” It is worth taking into account that in practise more females visit their Drs than males and one of the biggest health complaints are female problems. Dr Frank has had 30 years clinical experience as a GP so he has knowledge in this area!
If you disagree with Dr Franks views regarding Homeopathy etc, then just accept he has his views and you have yours and move on. Like I explained to user Sindy on here who took a dislike to me for some reason and started posting messages telling everyone I was a, “Psycho Nurse” and lying that I sent her abusive emails (none of which are true!) it is pointless trying to make up stories to tarnish someones character just because you disagree with something someone has stated. His advise is there, take it or leave it. No need to make this personal, lying about and harassing other users really says more about your mental health than anyone elses!

There are lots of worried people out there, not sure if they should .bother. their physician, young teenagers who feel unable to talk to their parents, people alone. Alone is when problems loom big. To just type in their worries and get reactions must help.
No-one of any repute on here has made an actual diagnosis, just said what it might be and advised people accordingly, as 'see your doctor'.
Answerers cannot see the person, don’t know their medical history, have no access to diagnostic tests, can’t ask questions and observe as answers are given. All of these things together can lead to an accurate diagnosis.
As for 'female health section' all medical people see both sexes,and so often as to depersonalise sex in the context of medicine, should female nurses only nurse women?
As for homeopathy, the Beeb did a documentary on 'the memory of water'! If you believe enough, as with tests involving placebos, some conditions might appear to be relieved.

There are jokers on the site, but there are also troubled youngsters (and adults too) who don't have anyone to ask. I am sure it helps them and no-one is dictated to. I’m female and if I answered questions on men's health it would be because I had siomething to contribute, not because I was “a bit of a nutter”.

Because questions on here are typically answered by JOHN DOE's on here , it is really your CHOICE to take the advice or tips that are given regarding the specifics of a question. NO ONE by any means is FORCING anybody to take responses to these questions as the DEFINITE answer to a particular question. When asking a question on YA you are allowing others to SHARE in their experience's or knowledge of issues that pertain to the question at hand. It is UP TO YOU to decide whether or NOT to take the advice given at the time. If DR.FRANK MISDIAGNOSED ANY body's question on YA , one has to be REALISTIC. For one you are EXPECTING EVERYONE ON YA to really answer your medical questions blindly. Your NOT in DR.FRANK's OFFICE sitting there with your medical records @ hand. This is done over the internet. One could ask a question about 2 symptoms they’re having and anticipate to receive a diagnosis merely from what they’ve typed on AN ANSWERS BOARD . WITHOUT PROPER TESTS AND IN A DR.'s setting you want a DIAGNOSIS. That’s PURELY IMPOSSIBLE. I for one like ADVICE or TIPS on ISSUES but I would much PREFER to have MY DIAGNOSIS come from a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL that’s STANDING BEFORE ME. Not from an answers board where NO TESTING AND MEDICAL HISTORY is being taken into consideration. I would ADVISE that if you have an issue with DR.FRANK's diagnosis or advice you SHOULDN'T take it SERIOUSLY THEN ! You DON'T need to badger the man over this. I concur, he gave a me a complete incorrect diagnosis about my hypoglycemia a while back. I think he’s a wannabe Dr claiming to have medical knowledge, I’ve noticed he spends a lot of time in the female health section.he seems very weird and odd! I notice many of his answers are dubious. I think people are starting to uncover his lies and claims
