Have you known anyone who healed by going within to heal. I mean cleaning up their diet & exercising & forgiving for example. Can you tell of any healing that someone has done?

Answer:
I do believe there is a mind/body connection to illness or pain and that you can help yourself heal with facing issues and meditation.

Louise Hay is one author who has written some books on this matter.

Here are a couple of experiences I've had. I had two broken toes that even after 6 weeks I was still in pain and limping. At the time I was working for my father and our relationship was greatly strained. We ended up in a blow-out and I made my decision to quit. Immediately the pain eased and was practically gone.

Another was looking into reasons behind a cyst I had formed under my arm. I was in a relationship I was resenting at the time. After having the cyst removed I would sometimes get pain in that region with slight swelling. I began to take notice whenever it happened and look into what was happening in my life and would realize I was resenting something that was going on. Each time I made the connection the ache would leave.

It is rather interesting to become aware and see that sometimes you do get a result by facing an issue you might be having. It is also interesting to learn about different healing methods that are out there like using energy, crystals, essential oils and essences, to name a few.

Essences (bark, flower, crystal and shell) are particularly interesting as they work on the emotional level. I’ve found Rescue Remedy and the Travel Remedy to be particularly effective. For areas of your life you’re struggling with these essences to help your progress through the issues you need to face.

If you are interested in learning an alternative way of healing you could become reiki attuned. The courses are relatively inexpensive. I did a weekend course that was enlightening. Using reiki can affect your life not just your body as it draws on the healing energy that is around us.

I don't believe people should ignore conventional methods of healing or snub medical attention, but I do believe that you can help yourself heal better and faster by using and learning about the alternative therapies available.

I hope this helps.

Answer:
Yoga helps tremendously. Another thing I suggest is finding all of your chakras and eliminate aspartame and monosodium glutamate from your diet. That's the trick.

Answer:
I myself had done the above. Also when working with Hispanic patients who believe in espiritismo, they’ve been helped by the supportive loving network.

Answer:
Something very easy I learned is that when you don't deal with something that needs to be dealt with and you worry about it, it comes out in form of pains. I had a horrible headache about once a month years ago, it felt like a dagger was stuck in the top of my scalp. After a three months I figured out it was always payday Friday, paid all my bills, filled up the car with gas and purchased whatever I needed. Had about $100 left for the whole month and I was worried about money but didn't deal with the worry. When I acknowledged I was worrying, the pain never came back. I believe that other kinds of chronic stress has an effect on our bodies and comes out as pain or whatever.
