My girlfriend, Joyce seems to think it's an allergy or a seasonal thing. I seem to get it whenever there is a sudden change in temperature. Concerned friends and family members think I should go to a doctor to have it checked. Before I make the appointment, I would like to know if there are any home remedies or herbal remedies. Could you advocate something for me to try?

Answer:
yes it is simple

take a little state a cup of warm water

put some common salt in it and gargle

you can use one dispirin too

repeat thrice a day

alternatively put two seeds of black pepper in your mouth

crush with you teeth and swallow you will get immediate relief

Answer:
If your voice is not going hoarse, there aren't lumps, and your throat doesn't hurt, it's probably nothing the physician can do. However, it never hurts, because the doctor can give you nose spray and eye drops if you need them.

An acupuncturist might be able to give you herbs appropriate for the condition if you just don't want to go to conventional doctor.

Answer:
Your girlfriend is most likely right, by the way… Allergies cause sinus drainage, which flows down your thoat. This is what you are calling “clearing your throat”….

The first thing I would do is to just go to the store and get a good anti-histamine. That should clear it up after a couple days…
