YES, there is an TDLO (lowest lethal dose observed) for man.

ORAL - MAN - 143mg for each kg-1 body weight

but in general doseing that would be difficult to obtain. Myself for example would have to take 10 897.1031mg's to hit my L50, 16345mg's to be rather guarenteed.

While diazepam and other benzodiazepines are generally safe in overdose, certain factors can make them less safe. For example, combining a benzo with another CNS depressant like opiates, alcohol, other medications etc will increase the danger of suppressing the respiratory centre in your brain. This can lead to hypoxia and even respiratory arrest in extreme circumstances. Also, people with respiratory problems like asthma or COPD would be much more susceptible than other people to benzo induced respiratory depression.

There’s no specific dose associated

with death. In the few documented fatal

cases doses haven’t been known with

certainty and other factors complicated the

clinical presentation (Cardauns & Iffland,

1973). In a survey of 914 benzodiazepine

related deaths in North America, only 2 cases

were associated with diazepam alone, in the

remainder other drugs were present which

either contributed to or caused death (Finkle

et al., 1979). After the intentional

ingestion of doses of 450 to 500 mg, and 2000

mg in two cases, patients recovered without

specific therapy within 24 to 48 hours

(Greenblatt et al., 1978).

Answer:
Even huge doses of diazepam are rarely fatal on their own….toxicity leading to death is usually from combining them with alcohol or other central nervous system depressants.

It also depends on the persons mass, other medical problems such as liver or kidney impairment. People usually die from asphyxiating or aspirating their own vomit, rather than from the overdose itself.

People botch suicide with benzos all the time, instead of being dead, they wind up as living vegetables.

Answer:
why would it be a exact #?

by accident probably 10-20mg. 500mg that's 250 bars. haha good luck with that.

on purpose why would it matter?

Answer:
Why do you want to know?
