Curious. Cali medical user here. Made some THC tincture, and I think I took too much. Wanting to compare smoking overdose to tincture overdose.
(Yes, you *can* overdose. It won't kill you, but it will make you feel lousy for a while.)

I think you are a tiny misinformed about overdosing. There is no standardized dosing regimen for marijuana so therefore, there’s no specific amount to use as an overdose. However, www.norml.org lists several medical studies done since the 60's and an overdose of marijuana is impossible. The physicians recommended that it would take something like 1500 lbs. of marijuana within a 15 minute period, which is of course, impossible. So if you have other information on marijuana overdosing, I would be interested to know what your source is and where you found it.
To answer your question about smoking too much, it varies from person to person. A seasoned smoker will experience a different feeling than a first time smoker will. And it also depends on the quality and potency of the marijuana. A person who smokes a joint of dirt weed won’t be as stoned as a person who smokes a joint of some dank a ss Kush. So your question is subjective and vague, to say the least.
Some people state they feel “lightheaded and/or dizzy” after an extended smoking session, some people feel like their heart is racing and get diaphoretic and/or clammy. Some people get a headache and upset stomach and other people have no symptoms whatsoever. It depends mainly on your tolerance level and how safe you feel in the environment you are in. If you are at home, relaxed and comfortable, you’ll probably not have such a severe reaction as someone who is a first time smoker, in a new place with people they’re not familiar with or barely know, which is basically social anxiety. And the anxiety will be magnified 10 times or more when you’re stoned.
Personally, marijuana is subjective to the person. Obviously, there are different sets of feelings you can get when you smoke what you think is too much for you, but it is all personal perspective. There’s not a single reported death due to marijuana. So all these people who state they feel enjoy it makes their heart rate speed out of control, if it was really that physically harmful, don't you think it would have caused someone to go into cardiac arrest or something?
Rest and enjoy yourself. Don't pay attention to your heart beat, don't let things around you annoy you. Just smoke your weed and let it carry you off to never never land. And if it kills you, you’ll be the first reported death associated with marijuana and you will be famous.

Hmm…lemme think back to those daysss….
The thing I remember about physical affects of bud is that if you smoke too much, you really don't want to move. Maybe it's b/c ur so high, your brain cant process the attempt to move..i dunno. But one time, huh one time? who am i kidding?? Whenever i would smoke 'too much' wherever I was, that's where I was staying for the next hour at least. I dunno if this had anything to do with bud, but sometimes the day after i smoked aloottt, i had the shits like nothing other.
Any other way bud affected me (besides my eyes and my speech) was mentally. i.e. anger, boredom, giddiness, etc.
I hope its not serious for you. Next time, dont do so much if you're a light weight loll
