I am currently on Metronidazole and I have a REALLY bad migrain. Vicodin is the only thing that helps and I was wondering if anyone knew if you could mix the two. I took the metronidazole about an hour ago….
Answer:
yes you can take the vicodin, the two do not interact.
Answer:
Yes, you can take the Vicodin, too. It's just alcohol that you have to stay away from while taking metronidazole, even alcohol that you may cook with. Metronidazole affects how alcohol is metabolized by the body. Therefore, any alcohol that is ingested while taking the drug will not be metabolized properly and this can lead to alcohol poisoning. But you're ok with the vicodin.
Answer:
Please don't rely on Yahoo Answers for medical advice. Ask your pharmacist.
Answer:
would you RISK taking the advice of an UNKNOWN person here ? DON'T !! Ask your pharmacist or doctor.
Answer:
to be honest yes you can. but if you feel better asking a pharmacist on the phone , lookup online a walgreens, or cvs 24 hour store with pharmacy.
